New faces at Valley Vets!

You may have noticed over the lasy few weeks that we have had some new faces join the team!

Kim has joined us as part of the reception team, and you can see her across all of our branches.
After completing her Diploma in Animal Management, she went to work in a front of house role, and decided she wanted to do something which combined the two, and hey presto, here she is!
She has a cat called Monty who is the most beautiful cat in the world (according to Kim!).
Out of work she belongs to an Amateur Musical Theatre Company, which she has been involved with since the age of 9.

Ashleigh joins the Gabalfa hospital as an RVN, she has recently relocated to Cardiff to be closer to family. Before joining us, she has been in the same practice for the past 8 years, starting as work experience in 2008 at the young age of 15, and got her first Saturday job there as a receptionist a year later. She started off by completing a few animal related courses, until she started her Veterinary Nursing qualifications in 2011, becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2015.
She currently has a 7 month old long haired naughty tortie called Daisy who she adopted from her previous practice after she was handed in as a stray! Daisy is still currently living in kent, until Ashleigh is settled, then she will be relocated to sunny cardiff!
Outisde of work Ashleigh enjoys horse riding and walking my aunts dog Lola.

Jo joins us as the evening receptionist in our Gabalfa hospital. She actually had her first experience of Valley Vets when she was in school, working in the evenings and on Saturdays. After a few years away having a family and pursuing other career avenues, she is back with us!
She is a self confessed crazy cat lady with five cats; Mavis, Merlin, Cleopatra, Mr Kittles and Gingie! And for some variety she has a hamster called Boo!
Outside of work Jo enjoys horse riding, festivals, live music, walking and other countryside pursuits.
