We are a busy, friendly veterinary practice looking for a professional and welcoming office administrator to cover maternity leave for a ten month period. (With the opportunity of a permanent position within our administration team, in a different role, after this period).

This is an important and varied role, requiring excellent communication and organisational skills.

The candidate must provide high standards of customer care, accuracy and attention to detail while under pressure. Computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point are essential.

Previous administrator experience is essential and veterinary experience desirable.

This is a dynamic, demanding position where no two days are the same. The candidate must be enthusiastic, friendly and be a good team player.

In this role, you will be responsible for debt management, social media, marketing, reception visual displays, fundraising for our chosen charities and be able to schedule appointments, handle telephone enquiries, process payments and much more. Training will be provided.

The position is 28 hours per week and will be based at our Cardiff practice. Periodically you will be required to travel to each of our sites, therefore, personal transport is essential.
