Lost and found...
Valley Vets are supporting 'National Microchipping Month' during June offering reduced priced microchips at just £10 per dog or cat.
If you have ever lost your beloved pet you will know just how worrying it can be and understand the importance of making sure that they are properly identified so that, when found, they can be returned to you as quickly as possible.
Microchipping - what's involved?
It's a very simple process. A tiny microchip (about the size of a grain of rice) with a unique code is implanted quickly and easily into the scruff of a pet's neck by a vet or nurse. The pet and their owners records are then registered on a central database.
Should your pet go missing, a microchip scanner will be used by vets, rescue kennels, charities or dog wardens to detect the unique code.
Did you know? Microchipping will become compulsory for all dogs in Wales by March 2015.
Please contact us during June if you would like to get your pet microchipped and take advantage of this special offer.
