Nurse Awareness Month

⭐Stephanie Pelaez - RVN at Ystrad Mynach⭐

Steph Graduated in 2005 with a BSc (Hons) Animal Health. She has been an RVN for 10 years and is Head Nurse at our Ystrad Mynach branch.

Steph enjoys all aspects of her role with a particular interest in behaviour. She completed a Postgraduate certificate in animal behaviour in 2016.

Her favourite part of being an RVN is getting to know long term clients and their furry family members. She especially enjoys being able to love all the spaniels in the valleys!

Steph’s advice for anyone wanting to be an RVN would be - 'Contact training practices to express your interest’s early on in training'. 

As a huge spaniel lover, she has two lovely spaniels of her own, Moose and a recent addition Sybil. Eight year old Sybil was brought in as a stray from Four Paws Animal Rescue and Steph fell in love with her.
