Between 06/08/2024 - 31/08/2024, our branch sites will be closed due to industrial action. We will be providing urgent and emergency care during this time from our Valley Veterinary Hospital in Gwaelod-y-Garth, CF15 9AA.
We are in the process of contacting all clients booked in, but if you have not heard from us and believe you still have a branch appointment booked in please get in touch.
To ensure our telephone lines are available for emergency calls and that you are not kept waiting on hold for long periods of time, if your call is in relation to any long term prescriptions including flea/worming, we kindly ask that you contact us via email at reception.caerphilly@valleyvets.net. For any routine appointments or non-urgent queries (e.g. upcoming booster vaccinations) please could you try to call us after 2pm Mon-Fri.
We sincerely apologise for any disruption this will cause and would like to take this opportunity to say how incredibly grateful we are to the team members providing emergency care to ensure patient care continues throughout.
We have a client-only, car park immediately behind the building. There are also some non-residential street parking spaces alongside the building on East View and a large Pay & Display car park just in front of the library, two minutes walk away. The Local Authority car parking charge is 40 pence for one hour. If you use the Pay & Display car park to visit us for a veterinary consult, or in-patient procedure, please let our reception team know BEFORE you settle your account and we will credit 40 pence off your veterinary service fee.
- We do not close for lunch Monday to Thursday.
- All veterinary and nurse consultations are by appointment only, except in emergencies.
