Caerphilly Surgery
From 30th July to 5th August, we will be running a first opinion and emergency service from Valley Veterinary Hospital only. We will aim to run our usual service, as we would on any normal week, but based from a single site.
We will make contact with any clients already booked in at branches that will be affected, in the hope that we can move those appointments across. During these week days we will be able to accept referrals in exotics, orthopaedic, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, but our other services also remain paused until we are confident we can offer them for a sustained period.
To ensure our telephone lines are available for emergency calls and that you are not kept waiting on hold for long periods of time, we kindly ask that you wait until Tuesday 30th July to call us for any non-routine appointments or queries e.g. booster vaccinations and flea/worm prescriptions.
Between 06/08/2024 - 23/08/2024, this site will be temporarily closed due to the industrial action. We will be providing emergency care during this time at Valley Vets Hospital. We are incredibly grateful to those team members providing emergency care during the industrial action to ensure pets needing treatment are treated. We apologise for any disruption this will cause.
We have a client-only, car park immediately behind the building. There are also some non-residential street parking spaces alongside the building on East View and a large Pay & Display car park just in front of the library, two minutes walk away. The Local Authority car parking charge is 40 pence for one hour. If you use the Pay & Display car park to visit us for a veterinary consult, or in-patient procedure, please let our reception team know BEFORE you settle your account and we will credit 40 pence off your veterinary service fee.
- We do not close for lunch Monday to Thursday.
- All veterinary and nurse consultations are by appointment only, except in emergencies.
